I had the pleasure of helping put on the 2nd annual PS 261 Comic-Con at my kid’s school once again this year. We had an amazing lineup of authors come to Brooklyn to talk with the community about creating their books. I made the logo (above) in the style of the old Uncanny X-Men logo.
In addition to moderating a panel, I had the pleasure of drawing this info sheet flyer that doubled as a coloring page. I wanted it to invoke the old comic covers I grew up with so I did the info box in the upper left corner complete with the heads of the authors where the heroes’ heads traditionally went. It was fun drawing some of the characters of each author and I’m happy with how the whole thing turned out!
